Ricky Skiathitis

Growing up playing sports lead me to my passion in fitness. I played football locally for any years at high level grades, with over 200 senior grade games and a Club Champion award in 2006.

I started strength training in 2005 where my love for health and fitness grew. I loved the gym so much I decided to go ahead and get my Certificate 3 & 4 with the AIF in 2005. After spending 5 years in the fitness industry gym instructing, programming, Personal / Group Training, I decided to make a life changing decision and join the Australian Army as a infantry man. Here is where my love for helping others took over.

In 2012 I was deployed to East Timor apart of a security force and in 2013 I was deployed on operations to Afghanistan, providing security / support to the reconstruction team as a lead scout and combat first aider. I discharged in 2015 celebrating a successful career in the Army. Run of the Mil Fitness was then founded.

As a coach, it’s now my mission to promote health and fitness, help individuals reach their goals and inspire by leading the way.
